Dhaka Lit Fest 2016

Dhaka Lit Fest was known as Hay Festival.  Dhaka Lit fest is a gathering of  Literary minds people. Who love Literature, Cultural programs, Foods as well. Nobel laureate VS Naipaul inaugurate Dhaka Lit Fest 2016. This year it pass sixth edition of the festival. This edition features some famous writers like  Pulitzer, Vidia, Poet Vijay Seshardi, Deborah Smith and Evie Wyld etc. 

Dhaka International Folk Fest 2016

"Folk music is the preserve and conveyance of cultural heritage. It’s more than music, an ideology. The diverse forms of local folk music including Bhatiali, Bhawaiya, Jari, Sari or Baul songs immensely appease people’s body and mind. The songs, which are entrenched to the root of Bengal for thousands of years, still prompting spirits of listeners.

বাংলাদেশ একটি নদীমাতৃক দেশ। নদী আমাদের চারপাশে ছড়িয়ে ছিটিয়ে আছে; অথবা বলা যায় আমরা নদীর চারপাশে ছড়িয়ে ছিটিয়ে আছি। এই নদী আমাদের সংস্কৃতি, আমাদের জীবন। এই নদী আমাদের ভালো লাগার, সুখের কারণ। আবার এই নদী আমাদের কষ্টের কারণ। এই নদীকে ঘিরেই আমাদের জীবন। আমরা অনেকেই এইদেশের  অনেক নদীর নাম জানিনা। যেটা আমাদের সবার জানা উচিত কারণ এটা আমাদের সংস্কৃতির বিরাট একটা অংশ।
